Situated on the 1st floor of the hospital, this laboratory corresponds to the definition of a real L2 facility, with a high-pressure access zone, 3 laboratories and a dark room for microscopy under low-pressure, HEPA filters and type II Microbiological Safety Cabinets. The L2 facility is open, in order of priority, to all persons working in the constituent units of the IMRB, followed by other laboratories working in collaboration with one of the constituent units.
